6 million years of human evolution and we still need to wipe our own backsides! Even canines are evolved enough not to need to do that !

Depends how you define “need”. You could try a week without wiping your backside and let us know how you get on. Just get the wife to give you a trim round with the dagging shears on Sunday night.👍😆
We used to have an Earth closet here behind the outhouse. His and hers side by side seats. Mixed it with the ashes and dug it into the garden till about 1950. Then new fangled systems meant it got into the water and the veg garden dwindled away. Not enough OM.

Nobody is keeping you from taking a shiit in the garden. Have at it.

Complained to an Amazon seller today that two items delivered last week according to Royal Mail and Amazon had not turned up. Their reply was well, Royal Mail says they delivered it, so hard luck. Items were delivered (again) by Royal Mail today.
Royal Mail have no idea where mine is, a pair of prescription safety glasses for me that cost a fair bit.

Then don't offer it at all.

I have no desire to press the flesh with strangers. Unless the stranger in question is What's On The Board Miss Ford, that is...
the fingertip thing is normally used by rude people to show what they think is their superiority, they are snobs and very sad sorts, there is no need for any form of rudeness or snobbery I was once asked by a very posh hyphenated woman if she could speak to the landowner i wiped my hands and held one out and asked if i could be of any help she replied "I very much doubt it" and went up to the house having asked my wife she was sent back down the yard to see me, she was from the country landowners i told her "i think we have established i can't be any help to you"( I really must do something about my image greasy overalls and holy sweater don't seem to cut it)

I can assure you, this wasn't like that. It was just a really wimpy handshake.

Contractors I regularly use increasing their rates by a significant amount and not having a quick word with me to just mention it , I only find out when the invoice comes.
I have no problem with people reprising their services I would just like them to mention it first.
Eg. £3 extra per bale for baling/wrapping, £8 per hour extra for hedge cutting.

That's quite a jump!
