My forecast says lots of zero for the next two weeks. At least wait until it’s legal. Will be putting urea on in early feb but wouldn’t be doing it with AN that early.

NVZ is 16th here, but the rye would soak it up anytime. Could still be a lot of winter yet.

February statistically the driest month. Little bit of urea isn't going anywhere.
It's dry here now, so much so I could be drilling barley quite happily and the long term forecast for the rest of the month looks dry.

The only down side is since I looked a couple of days ago we seem to be forecast lower temps both day and night.

Lodging and disease ( and no yield benefit/ polluting water ) are the downsides to any potential yield that disperses through a following wet cold Feb…

Imvho from growing 11t/ha + crops of WB in the SW with some UAN end of Feb
