Dead right. I think this whole benchmarking thing just plays more into their hands.
Norwegians don’t import until they run out , they look after their own farmers first .
None of them are any better time for a good shake up Guth for PMIt would be nice if we had a govt that put our own producers first, but then you helped to vote this lot in, with their free import policies.
Not really. Firstly the figures are already in the public domain, published in various costings books. And secondly, their COP calculator isn’t fit for purpose anyway.
But isn’t sharing all the data not detrimental when they can offer a price close to the cost of production. It’s only Tesco that do that model anyway iirc, the others all having their own systems to fix a price, usually SQQ+ I think.
But yes, I’ll do it for a big enough premium. My priority is to myself, not to the excitable @Hilly

I read a while back that the 15 biggest freight ships were more polluting than all the cars in the world put together. Sounds astonishing and no idea if correct. Something to do with them using 'bunker oil' which is the dregs of the refinery and high in sulphur??Shipping lamb around the globe to save a few pennies , disgusting
