Mid Tier Capital Claims

Am I correct in thinking I can make multiple Mid Tier Capital claims, ie I can undertake work and claim for it in stages? I do not have to wait until all the work is done and put all my capital claims into one claim application do I?

Yes, as soon as you have finished an item you can make a claim whenever you want. The claim form is very simple and just submit for the work you have completed to date along with any evidence required and it gets paid in a few weeks as long as everything is in order.

The claim form is online in the CSS section of your account on RPA online.

Thanks and supporting evidence ie photos? it would make sense if they could be uploaded with the claim form! One ticks the box to confirm you are suppling the supporting evidence but I see nothing on the claim form or in the help section to state how or where.... are they just emailed to [email protected]? Obviously these processes will be clear and simply when SFI is introduced :ROFLMAO:

Sorry to butt in here but I have a similar query. I've gone for a fair bit of stone wall repairs... my walling chap likes to do a bit, disappear to another place for a while, then come back and do a bit more... and it'll take him a while to do all the bits I've claimed for. Can I claim as I go with this, or is it literally a case of waiting for all walls to be put back up and then claiming?

You don;t have to do it all and then claim , but there might be a limit on the number of claims in a year, eg not doing 10 yards at a time and claiming 20 times! Please read your agreement.

Yes, they are emailled. It tells you somewhere exactly how to submit - you need to name the photos in a particular way before sending. Please read it yourself I'm not doing everyone's homework for them!

Thanks, Sorry I wasn't expecting anyone to do my homework. it would just be helpful if the "help" signposted applicants to the right information!

Yes you can make a number of claims - don't quote me but I think the minimum claim value has to be a min of £500. The system lists all your different options and assigns them to each parcel number. It is also possible to claim for bits and pieces; for example we have a number of hedges to lay over two years and last year we got so far along one particular hedge and then had to stop and wait to carry on this winter - I think that hedge was about 100m long and the system allows you to claim say 80m and then automatically leaves the remaining 20m on the system to claim once you have done that so the scenario with the stone walling is perfectly possible to claim at different times (assuming £500 min claim) even if on the same wall.
You claim for the work you've done on the online claim form but you have to email the evidence to RPA - invoices, photos. etc (think should have before and after photos labelled with parcel no etc)

An issue I found was that once you submitted a claim, you had to wait until it was completed/paid until you could make another claim. I find they take 6 weeks if no issues. So its frustrating waiting to do your next one. Try and claim for numerous things at once if you can.

Helpful bloke at RPA told me they only need "after " photos with the claim. You should have before pics available incase of query or inspection
I find easiest way to present pics is to insert them on to a word doc . When complete save as PDF. That creates a smaller file to email.
Did a claim in December and money was in the bank in 3 weeks.

(y) so they do accept them as a pdf word doc... the instructions say the have to be send as images saved with a very specific format to how each one is named....
