Beans, beans and beans. Don’t use fert in grass anyway. As for the cereals, I have about half normal use in old bags at the back of a shed. May just stick with that. Tbh, I would say normally (when N was infinite and cheap) I didn’t give anything like enough allowance for the manure

I'm dropping third cut. Will sell first cut, and keep second for myself. After today's fert, I shall be sorted.

Perhaps. Grass is a "new thing" still to me but the bulky first cut seems to sell well; second cut gets nicer weather for me to make good quality haylage; and I tend to prefer the graziers sheep on earlier. Third cut also tends to be in busier times.
pretty soon, there's going to be a big gap between Granular Urea and local Nitrate prices.

It's being shipped around the UK to various ports, at massive cost, to ease the logistical problem. This then limits the facilities where imported AN can be handled, due to the strict storage and handling laws.
Egyptian FOB levels, in a temporary illiquid market, have dropped over $100/mt, seeking out a price level where they'll find buyers. There's a big value call to make - it depends how long you can wait to receive the fertiliser? No good to pay less but not get it in time is it?

I'm pretty much bought up, and being on liquid can't buy for 2023 harvest, I could buy bagged I suppose,
but I have no idea which way the market will go.
