It’s not wired to any of plug pins. Wires (a lot thinner than socket wires) come down cable to this little box of tricks and then back up cableNow Then..
Which pin number is it wired to??
That's what I have, fitted as standard, problem being if you forget to turn it back on then potentially you back into something as you rely on the sensors. As above, it is either or both to disable teh fog lights or reversing sensors.
Chuck it away and fit a small switch somewhere easy to get to. When you hook a trailer up, acticate the switch.
It will make it a lot easier to replace in the future.
That's like a local fella who wanted to test the front parking sensors on his new motor, he drove up to the fence, then drove into the fence, then got out & realized there were none fitted...That's what I have, fitted as standard, problem being if you forget to turn it back on then potentially you back into something as you rely on the sensors.
In the good old days yes. Nowadays it does that via the BCU, often diables rear park sensors, and it also tells the vehicle it's towing, so change throttle mapping, and in the case of an auto, to change shift points. Is it the fog light cutout, some vehicles have it so when the trailer is in use fogs on vehicles don't work to save shining on the front of the trailer?
