Markets aren't cheap to run ......
Some pay their auctioneer £100,000 plus whatever car he wants, some don’t. Some pay haulage to drag far away customers in with stock, some don’t. Some give huge amounts of credit to buyers to keep prices up then get dropped for £300,000 bad debt. Some markets charge 2.5% commission, some 4.5%. Anyone see a pattern?

We have not had a price lift as such , we have had a rise with inflation nothing more , we are worse off as now carry a lot and I mean a lot more risk than ever before ! All that’s happend is years of printing money staving off recessions it’s a recipe for massive disaster them in the know are constantly monitoring the economy that lives on a knife edge .

I think it’s gone past the point of retrieval now
I looked at the debts of various countries and it would appear there won’t be any easy way back now.

I sold lambs between Xmas and new year and by the time I paid levies, commission and a bit of luck it was £7.80/hd no wonder I send most of mine deadweight.
I was much the same, don’t want to grudge commission but when our bill for commission passed 10k in our financial year it gave a reality check, and that would be more than 15 year ago still support the markets just not 100% and hardly ever with cattle☹️
