Sadly you will be left with Olga, but never mind she will be a good worker, after she was in the olympic weightlifting team but kicked out for misuse of testosterone

I spent time in the Sudan and i would say it’s very similar. Been to Russia and been to China and i’d say life for the average working person is pretty ok. For the vast majority of the world it’s the shame day to day grind to put food on the table and a roof over your head etc.I worked in Iran for a while. Everybody there was clamouring to get to the West for what? More television channels, and fast food really. I told them not to bother. I actually didn’t mind living in Iran. Basic wholesome food, no processed shite, proper law and order, praying 5 times a day was a nice break/meditation. No obsession with health and safety. A man is a man and a woman is a woman. And actually more highly educated women engineers than you will find here. I got on alright with the mullahs despite being a Christian. Mutual respect. A lot of western culture isn’t even culture TBH. It’s the lowest materialist common denominator. I wouldn’t completely disrespect other systems after working there. The ones who kick up a fuss are the same as those who kick up a fuss here. Pffft.
Brings back memories of my childhood. Didn't have open air prisons but nobody went abroad on holiday. If you like the sounds of that then North Korea might suit you even better!
Very little traffic on the roads- but full of bicycles and ox and cart. Not just 1970's farming, no, were talking 1790's farming.
Free national health exercise programme. No more lard arshes if everyone is stuck living on 1800 calories and running around with worms.
No social media to speak of- enjoy greater productivity in your working day.
Very little mobile phone use- enjoy your labours undisturbed for days at a time!
Free military uniform for everyone on their 14th birthday, national service ends age 30.... Sorts out youth unemployment nicely this one as you can imagine.
Mandatory national service- a firm favourite on TFF!
Plenty of space in prisons- they are open-air!
No fancy imported foods for breakfast, in fact, no fancy imported foods at all besides rice and maize- just old fashioned gruel for brekkie then.
National holiday every year on the birthday of Kim Jung. We have them too for The Queen.
Lots of regular firework shows provided by the state- as they test their latest rocket or nuclear weapon. Remember Christmas Island?
Whats not to like? Emigrate now.
The majority of comments regarding other countries come from those that have never lived or even visited said countries.I spent time in the Sudan and i would say it’s very similar. Been to Russia and been to China and i’d say life for the average working person is pretty ok. The same could be said for those that have emigrated from the UK, they miss certain elements of the country they have left (mainly friends and family) but wouldn't move back, it depends on what life style and way of life you want to lead.If I think of the Iranians, Russians, North Korean, Chinese etc. etc. who I have met, having managed to escape their countries of origin, I'm minded that not a single one wants to go back there now. Many, perhaps all, miss their 'country', meaning the land, the customs, foods, family and friends*, but none would change their place here for a return.
Take the USA 'land of the free and home of the brave' 2.3 million people were in prison in 2016 very close to 1 in 100 of the population in fact nearly a quarter of the worlds prisoners are in the USA. I've lived there too and American policemen frightened the life out of me.They take crime very seriously except if it's knocking a teenager off his moped by driving on the wrong side of the road. The same could be said for those that have emigrated from the UK, they miss certain elements of the country they have left (mainly friends and family) but wouldn't move back, it depends on what life style and way of life you want to lead.
Personally I would't want to live in the Middle East, Russia or China, but then I wouldn't want to live in the UK or USA either.
One of the reasons people voted for Brexit. A return to the good old days.Brings back memories of my childhood. Didn't have open air prisons but nobody went abroad on holiday.
. A man is a man and a woman is a woman.
Of course it could, and of those who have left NZ. But the point is that neither country has an oppressive regime in charge, restricting the fundamental democratic rights...The same could be said for those that have emigrated from the UK, they miss certain elements of the country they have left (mainly friends and family) but wouldn't move back, it depends on what life style and way of life you want to lead.

You help your friends and allies it's quite simple. Putin would have been through (or at least tried ) Ukraine and the other Baltic states if he wasn't sure of what the response would be likewise China and Taiwan. Saddam and Galtieri would n't have done what they did if they had realised what the response would be. Invading sovereign states and territories is something no one should be doing anymore. The days of Cromwell are long gone or at least they should be all the things you quoted were a response to foreign aggression. If you'd been talking about the second Gulf war you might have a point.Vlad invading a neighbour or three is a terrible thing. Uncle SAM and his coalition of the willing, crossing the globe to reign “shock and awe” on Iraq, because Saddam toddled over to his neighbour Kuwait, to borrow a few cans of oil, is a good thing.
Why even Mrs. T, when her political future looked most tepid indeed, sent half her forces over to a barren rock in the south Atlantic, just to fend of a few scrap metal dealers. That too was a good thing, especially since the little adventure saved her her career.
Putin is just trying to save his career. Just sayin….
