Red diesel shortage?

According to a reliable source, namely the fuel delivery driver with whom I wanted to order tractor diesel, there is no red diesel at all to be had from Stanlow in Cheshire. No doubt this is a temporary issue but nevertheless rather worrying if it is true.

Anyone else heard this?

That's from Pattersons inc VAT.

Might be wrong but I don't think they store it they run in and out Stanlowe like a few round here

White Rocketted around here 153.9 Shell Denbigh this morning

A lad I know with Pumps and a Garage 12 miles the other way is 151.9 he's up 3 p since last week.

If I remember correctly , doesn't construction have to use white diesel from April 2022 perhaps they are all filling up as many tanks as possible before that date;)
A company I know, that will have to revert to white, was only sent half their recent order of red. When they questioned their suppliers, they were told it had been estimated how much red they would use leading up to April the 22nd, and that is what was sent.
Seems the suppliers will be audited on who they supply.
Mentioned it to another person today, and he had heard the same from a builder that his supplier won’t supply him any further red.
