What should JRM tackle first?

With a new Minister for Brexit opportunities what should the agricultural industry be lobbying the Honourable Member for North East Somerset to tackle first?
As one of his constituents I am happy to pass on any advice from the collective.

I will start:-
EU standards requiring veterinary supervision of low through out slaughterhouses be done away with and replaced with local authority EHOs and meat inspectors as was the case prior to 1995.

The Animal By product regulations be amended to permit on farm burial of dead stock subject to protection of water sources.

1. Publish a statement explaining when and how the Border Control Posts will be up and running and why we went nuclear on January 1st without them !!! No UK livestock can currently be exported.

2. Grab the issue of phyto sanitary rules between NI and remainder of UK and sort it (should never have been an issue)

3. Pick up the ‘phone this morning to George Eustice and ask what on earth is going on with the pig rollover crisis and in advance of the NPA crisis meeting with Victoria Prentis

4. Revisit legislation to bring back and endorse the Parrish Amendment to the Agriculture Bill making it illegal to bring in food or livestock that were produced in systems illegal in this Country.

5. Sit on the current DEFRA consultation on food labelling and make a real difference to transparency assisting consumer choice

I am already wondering why I’ve bothered writing this as I have no faith he’ll do anything

Since when have no livestock been able to be exported?
January 1st this year?
I believe so yes . Had an enquiry for Belted Galloway heifers to Spain

Only way I believe was to “export “ to NI. 40 day residency there / somewhere , then through Southern Ireland and to Santander but my export agent I've used before declined
