You mean another ‘victory’ for the so called ‘Greens’, like the Neonicitinoid ban, that will actually mean we spray more environmentally damaging and severe older chemistry more often?
No idea duck , I've got loads of the stuff

Got about 20-25ha of Bumblebird cover that was due a full whack of Glyphosate to take out 18months of rubbish before starting again. 12ha of stiff stuff

I called in the local ploughman for the day, 10 days ago in that nice dry spell... Seems like the right decision...;)
25ha ? Did Severn Trent pay for that much .

Might even be a bit more.... ;)

Good wheat prices made me question the decision last October... Recent Fert and Roundup prices make me a little more content with my decision process!! :sneaky:
My small amount of bumble bee mix didnt do that well. Too many components in the mix in my opinion (11).

STW didn't seem overly bothered on the mix constituents. High seed rate of cheap filler lobbed is a winner IMO, chuck a bit of sunflower in from the birdseed food supplier to make it look nice as well.. ;) Full ground cover to keep the bloody willowherb under control is my aim.

However, I am going much later for the "Spring" sown this time, with around 50% Autumn drilled, mainly on the heavier soils. Got one block I put a cover crop on as an experiment before spring sowing. Next year, it'll be stubble turnips!

Bothe of the above means minimal glyphosate here.
