ATV fertiliser spreading advice needed..

With a mounted or trailed spreader? Used to do both yonks ago
Either really. Thinking about going down the mounted route...
So pony paddocks and other small areas?
Yeah thats the idea. Plus maybe broadcasting grass seeds as well.
Don't really know the best way of charging. Nearest comparable NACC had was ATV spraying at £45 p/hr
That is around the figure I would be looking at for now, maybe even a bit more.
When doing small areas, the time is spent travelling. I used to charge a higher rate for Call out and the first hour., then a reduced price/hr. after that. You call any service engineer to do anything on a domestic appliance... 50-60 quid call out!!

The Bullock/DeLimbe spreader is plastic and stainless, so no problem with rotting out.
I Doubt it would run though, and certainly not evenly.
I’m sure I read somewhere that you can get an agitator in some models though, which might solve it?
You want good prills. AN worked fine, granular less so. This was through a Lishmann and a Logic.
