Dog food transport needed

Hello we are a dog rescue charity, 1 Dog At A Time Rescue UK. We put out an appeal for dog and cat food, as well as a JustGiving campaign (the volunteers at our shelter in Romania have been buying and distributing aid). We have been overwhelmed with the response and now have a few tonnes of dog food we can’t ship. We have a sprinter type van that is returning to Romania at the weekend but it can only take 500kg.
We need help in transporting the food please? 🙏

Do they need to be? If they have the food and want it transported, I don't see a problem with someone offering to take it.
It appears that they are a registered charity.

Would you feel so confident in sending cash to an unregistered 'charity'? It is not illegal to ask for money. But they would not subject to the scrutiny of The Charity Commissioners either and that's when I do see a problem...and have experience of one

Yes we are a registered charity 1167007. I am a trustee and treasurer. Through our JustGiving campaign so far we have raised £6000 plus gift aid. This money has been spent on buying HUMAN AID and is being distributed to Ukrainian refugees in Romania and at the border. I have receipts and photographic evidence of every penny spent so I can assure you we are 100% legitimate.
What I am looking for is help to ship over donated dog food please. Thank you.

Do you know that you have all the required documents for exporting this …

You wouldn’t to be held up for days at a border whilst obtaining relevant numbers etc.
Yes thanks we do have a good understanding of it all, we regularly send donated food to Romania. The van we use can only take 500kg which has been fine in the past. People have been so generous that we’re looking at 2/3 tonnes or even more that we have to send. That’s why we’re trying to source transport of it. Do you know anyone that can help? Thanks.

There's another thread on here entitled "Drive to Ukraine".

Quote: "Morning, a friend and I are willing to drive a vehicle up 7.5 tons to the Ukraine please get in touch.

.......but it does sounds as if they are offering drivers only. Maybe someone will loan a vehicle?
