Let's recall why trump was impeached, withholding military assistance to Ukraine to pressure Zelensky to attempt to influence the American election. He is still praising and licking putrids boots.

If there were a God he or she or it operates in a peculiar way.

“And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that, with it, Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits in Thy mercy."
And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals and fruit bats.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it."

And when Zelenskyy ratted him out what did the Democrats promise him in return, couldn't have been coming to his aid in any trouble with Putin would it, he seemed to me very over confident in his standing up to all Putin's threats? I wondered why he should be so confident.

People keep mentioning the fog of war and I was recently reminded that Churchill, I think it was, said that one of the first casualties of war was truth. And as I am sat contemplating the matter I am reminded of two incidents when I was enveloped by naturally occurring fog.

The first occasion nearly cost me my life and the second occasion certainly caused me a great deal of stress but unlike a fellow schoolboy, who stood still to allow two cyclists to pass on either side of him in the fog and was hit by a car running on side lights and killed, I survived. :(

Absolutely we should be boycotting anyone and anything who wants to associate with the fudging place. No more Russian oil or gas, either.
Are you serious? Have you considered the implications of this? Oil is already almost certainly destined to reach and exceed $200 per barrel, which will see petrol and diesel reaching £3/litre. If the West refuses Russian oil they will certainly turn off the gas tap which will bring European economies to their knees with industry not just going into recession but shutting down with all that implies.
On a more local scale, boycotting McDonalds will certainly stop the price of beef rising in the UK because all those forequarters of lean beef will have to be found a home, possibly incinerated. KFC not so much because most of their chicken is imported.

I don't care a hoot. The UK can buy oil from anywhere on the world market. We should not be buying their gas or oil. In fact, we should scale up our own gas production immediately and get serious with other infrastructure plans. We will all be paying for this conflict in one way or another for years irrespective of whether we buy Russian oil or gas.

I couldn't give a fudge about McDonalds- the only thing I still buy from them is coffee which is about the healthiest thing they sell. The rest is cleverly marketed poison.
