Crumbs Treg, you have a memory like an elephant. As for me my relatives either came out of Africa around 50,000 years ago or were more local Neantherdals, haven't been able to trace it that far back. In fact I odubt I can get back past great grandparents, and even so what. Any instance in your family of a family member marrying across the Tamar? if so were they excommunicated from the family? I jest.

Interestingly British history/ legend says King Brutus of Troy came to Britain as a refugee, giving his sons Scotland & Wales , the Commander of his army , Cornellious he gave Cornwall.
Recent DNA studies have shown that Celtic nations have very similar DNA apart from the Cornish who have slightly different DNA to other Celtic nations.

And this is what should be shown to the world, forcibly if necessary, directly to Russia, China etc.; but, of course, they will say it's just special effects, or that the Ukrainians killed her just for the propaganda value.

I think we - the West - have simply been too tolerant of the dictatorships; e.g. in the UN one Russian so-called diplomat made up claims; fine, prove it. Even humble me could destroy his claims in cross-examination, they adduce no evidence for any of their lies, so why on Earth aren't our own representatives there calling them out?

All that's needed is to say something like: 'Fair enough, demonstrate your claim, prove it, produce incontrovertible evidence and WE will support your motion here in the UN.' But we don't, or won't do this.


I have recently been chatting with some people who know far more about the internet and the tech involved in it than I do - though to be fair, that is not saying much. Anyway, these fellows are vastly in advance of most others, and are very well informed regarding methods and advances in their field.

There are now reliable ways to circumvent China's 'Great Firewall', and so allow the Chinese to see uncensored information, and to communicate with the outside world. I wonder when these will be used to their full extent.

Studies have also demonstrated that a large majority of English people have a much higher amount of 'native' British DNA than was previously supposed; demonstrating that 'the people' pers se, don't really change much, but that the culture does; i.e. overlords, though few in number, can have great influence on what is done and said.

Yes , can't remember the number but very few Normans settled here, they just ruled by violence & aggression.

What do you mean by native British DNA. Anglo-Saxons or Celts as both are Germanic/eastern European in origin. :scratchhead:
