diesel ordered 23feb at 79p told it would not be delivered till following week delivered 7march driver said he had about 70 litres extra in tank would i take it i said yes paid it 12 march 2570 litres at 79p there is still decent firms out there

I think he's sick of the maybe false claims of force majeure, not disbelieving the prices quoted, but I may of misunderstood his post.

As someone who has usually bought fert early I might just hold back this year and see what happens, if the prices keep on rising I might go on holiday for a couple of weeks around the end of Sept begining of Oct ,

£500 plus / 600 kg bag fert at mvf yard last week.

200kg/ha rate, 40ha/hour spreading, £1000/T will be £166/minute. So £100/minute easily achievable!
