Ye we've got some of them affordable house's near me there great but I think the price is a typo I can only assume they meant to say £75000 😄
No typo, the first houses to be built as “affordable” started at £750,000 a few cheaper ones have now gone up they’re a more reasonable £450,000

The Falklands war had to be fought. It was a straightforward aggressive invasion by a foreign power of a British territory inhabited by British citizens. I must admit, I was extremely impressed and proud by the outstanding professionalism of the UK armed forces in quickly retaking the islands with the minimum of fuss and disruption.

How on earth any country anywhere, can justify having territory thousands of miles from home, and claiming it is rightfully theirs, is beyond all logical comprehension.
The Falklands has been colonised, fought over, and bickered about, between any number of European powers, including UK, France, Spain, The Pope, and probably more besides, over the past few hundred years. If only these countries had stayed to fkkukk at home, the world would be a better place today.

Because we would be in a much worse situation than we are now if we hadn't fought for what we've got, take it your one of these people ashamed of the British empire?

Does it matter one single bit? Only a dumb fkuwit can with the benefit of hindsight, justify the invasion, subjucation and pillage of another country.
Well if you do live in the UK I'm afraid your benefitting from the invasion, subjugation and pillage of other countries are forefathers did what they did to build a better future for us all and I'm not ashamed of that

The Dutch started that an we were the first to end it and shed blood in battle to ensure it stopped and let's not forget about African pirates that would kidnap white slaves I'm not ashamed of our history it's what made us!

The people there consider themselves British. It's as simple as that.

You rant against history is noted. I would point out that the European colonial powers were the last in a very long line of governments or civilisations that took it upon themselves to travel around and then claim or conquer new territories. Are you extending your complaints to the Ottomans, Mongols, Romans etc?

Old Ashy only objects to British Colonialism.

He supports Irish Colonialism in as far as he believes Rockall to be Irish (even thought it is 75 miles closer to Scotland).
