New tractor delivery dates

Hi, I ordered a new JD 6 weeks ago with an estimated delivery of November/December. I've still not had a build date that I was told would be released soon as the order was put in.
I have chased this and dealer not go it yet.
Anyone else having troubles with extended build/delivery dates? I'm in no rush for it and to be honest I'd rather it turn up next spring anyway.
Just am I now looking at another 6 weeks on top of the November December delivery?
Anyone else ordered a JD and how soon did you get the date it was going down the line?

Spoke to NH salesman about something else this week and asked how things were and delivery times. He said that it was hard work and odd deal has been cancelled but unless stock tractor , it's just on 12 months for a NH for delivery now .

Got a couple of stock tractors coming once loader arrives for them. That was 12 weeks ago, if it was factory order we were told at least a year from then.

but why so long
surely covid didn't cause that much damage
or is it they are simply built to order, but 2 yrs to build a lorry is ridiculous, there must be a reason, don't think there is that huge a demand. Heard Russia has lost a lot of vehicles, but can't export there.
Changed our car, was told 6 months delivery, or, we could have the show room model, driving it 7 days later !

Apparently MAN have had to stop production as the wiring harnesses are made in Ukraine.

so the policy of keeping world peace, by uniting countries by trade, so they have to rely on each other, has suddenly proved not so good. Russia has learnt that, a huge amount of 'spares' were made in Ukraine. Think that will have to change now !

Well you need to start by convincing our youth and their parents that donning a pair of overalls to earn their wages does not mark them as a failure in life.

Talking about getting a new 8 wheeler blower wagon.
A Volvo, body builders won't start till they get chassis cab, as all are made to measure.
Total waiting time is around 16 months, as for pricing, they won't quote a price, but happy to give an estimate of X £s as a base price, but could well be more due to inflation etc

Spoke with Jcb rep this week, they said 2 years for construction spec and 8 months for ag spec.

It will keep the price of near new stuff up.

Shows how healthy the margin is on ag spec. Very nearly £100,000 for a loadall is truely taking the mick. Only 12 months warranty and no subsidised finance at that.
