Refurbished Trolley jack supplier?

Can anyone suggest where I can purchase a refurbished trolley jack and what lifting capacity to you find most useful in the workshop.

My old 3 tonne 20odd yr old halfords jack was dying on me so i got this set few weeks ago thought it was decent value for money just to use for van, car etc use big bottle jacks for bigger stuff.

My local tyre guy who I use says they only buy Sealey jacks, does 2 to 3 years, goes iffy and then they just buy new. He said they have tried dearer ones as well but have now just stuck with Sealey as they all last about the same.

On a separate note regarding tools, any faults or breakages have been sorted out quickly by Sealey in my experience, Draper Expert on the other hand have been a fecking nightmare with their lifetime guarantee.... Do you have the purchase receipt? Eh no, it will be in the accounts from yester year, well sorry sir, no original purchase receipt we can't do anything!!

I broke a Sealey pro 3/8" swivel bar, emailed them asking if they sold replacement heads and they said send a pic of the broken one so we can identify the part number and stuck a new complete bar in the post gratis with no other questions asked. (y) I know what I'll buy for mid range tools from now on..!!

I’ve had a pair of sealy jacks I got off eBay new in about 2007 for £130, both still work well used them as a mechanic for a few years hence the purchase.

might want a bigger jack to split a tractor for a clutch
