I thought *all* 8340's were turbo's = only the very first white roof 8240's were N/A, before they added the turbo under the "altitude compensation" banner.
That's right pete. The first 82 and 83 were identical except the pump turned down a bit in the 8240. My 82 was J reg
(92).
The turbo came on the 83 from Sept '93.
None of the 8240s were turboed when new.
Later models had New Holland on the sides of the bonnet and small Ford decals on the sides of the nose and the NH badge on the front.
