On a sidenote, what is avadex?
A granular herbicide that controls black grass and wild oats in cereal crops. Is a bit marmite
I've customers who love it and know people who think it's a waste of money

Definitely cider…..
I have a big stainless steel hopper that would just do on the back of there.
At a guess, I’d say it would hold 4 bags of fert.
Never done owt with Avadex, is that a bit big?

Local big farm have a spreader on a buggy, looks a great piece of kit. Lots of fert, small tractor.

I can spread any fert to 36m with my Zetros and mounted Bredal, and get 11 bags in it, but it takes hours to make all the changes from lime to fert and then hours back again.

Looks like the end of your tube narrows quite a bit at the end, I had loads of trouble with a front hopper getting back pressure in the venturi because the tube had been narrowed from 110mm to just 100mm half way down. Made the tube the same diameter all the way through and problem solved.
That's a bit of a sod then
