NFU discount Toyota

Local Toyota stealer told me that NFU discount now down to 10% ….. hilux price rise on May first £830 ….. order now 13 months wait…… madness.
Local farmer had a new hi lux on NFU discount last year and promptly ordered another one for delivery 12 months or so on.
Reckons he will be able to sell the current one for a profit.

Priced up a ranger about a year ago and then asked for Nfu discount as we could use a friends Nfu membership but the dealer said it was fully discounted. It was a Wildtrack auto with rear roller cover otr £31,500 + vat.

I ordered a Wildtrack auto with hard top last June for £28.5k through buying group. Should have been delivered in Feb. Latest update is end of July delivery.

Way of the World , I'm afraid.....just had my new Toyota Highlander delivered after a 11.5 month wait.. thankfully one week before our government imposed a new emissions tax that would have been about $4000 !!!!

It’s only if you get the nfu discount that you have to keep it for a year.
If you buy it without any discounts you can sell it anytime
Hmmm heard of one recently…New Hi-Lux…had to sign on the line saying he wouldn’t sell it for three months…it was either that or dealer wouldn’t hand it over.
Seems to me some fairly dodgy terms being introduced into a contract of sale after the event..
