The problem being, he was caught! I do not disagree with the sentiment of your post but! He’s surely become a wiser mortal.
Who hasn’t lusted or letched to some degree? We aren’t all eunuchs and never will be. Ok he let it get the better of good sense and decency. But end his career for that? You’d need to kick them all out if that’s the rule.
Well who hasn’t looked at a woman and thought “impure” thoughts? You will be a looking a long time to find any bloke with the sort of purity of thought that some people expect, and chances are he’ll be completely useless.I think I and many others would happily kick them all out if that's what is required for a slither of common sense and decency from the people who have such vast control over our lives.
What's wrong with tractorsIt wasn't mad Hat's husband, it was the other woman, having thought on it.
Just been on radio, apparently Mr Parrish was attempting to look at tractors and came across it by accident.
I am nominating Philip Halse to succeed him.Well who hasn’t looked at a woman and thought “impure” thoughts? You will be a looking a long time to find any bloke with the sort of purity of thought that some people expect, and chances are he’ll be completely useless.
I’m not excusing disrespect for women. A gentleman should always act as such. But to expect absolute purity of thought at absolutely all times is unrealistic.
I assumed he was watching the tractor for slopes thread, and something unseemly from Thailand popped up...What's wrong with tractors
Suffolk man had sex with 450 tractors
A Suffolk man with a bizarre sexual attraction to tractors has been banned from the countryside and forced to sign the sex-offenders' register.www.suffolkgazette.com
Like machinery porn when visiting his yard!I am nominating Philip Halse to succeed him.
Maybe , but his behaviour was crass , unacceptable and offensive , he deserves to walkWe all know the complainants are only interested in nothing more than finishing an old style Tory’s career. It’s nothing to do with moral decency anyway.
I am nominating Philip Halse to succeed him.
I think his dodgy 'moral compass' is what got him into this predicament!Be good if the some of the others showed such a moral compass as NP has displayed.
For me he is a person with incredible integrity and drive.I doubt he would be interested. He’s very religious is he not?
Unfortunately, although I do feel some sympathy for the man, I cannot agree with you. There goes the most effective EFRA Committee chairman in decades.....
Who's up to replace him I wonder?
Unfortunately, although I do feel some sympathy for the man, I cannot agree with you.
I watched him in a PAC meeting discussing ELMs and the demise of BPS.
Firstly he jovially gave the impression that he was the only farmer there (which he wasn’t!), that he knew everything and that the others needed to listen and learn. Both Tim Farron (Liberal) and Daniel Zeichner (Labour) gave far better arguments as to why BPS payments should not be reduced until ELMs is properly sorted out.
Then Olivia Prentice (Tory) gave her ‘This is what we are doing - Like it or lump it’ speech and Neil Parish (fellow Tory) said thank you very much for coming and that was it!
You cannot chair such a meeting, trying to make it jovial as it loses all seriousness.
There really has got to be somebody better to chair the EFRA committee meeting than him!
