No!
It can enter the EU, travel across and exit without inspection of the load. Customs seal intact at entry and exit means none of the EU's business.
You want to eat dubious product? they don't care, you left.

Love the way you support the undercutting of your own product👍 carry on cutting your nose off to spite your face.
Like Neddy lasagne from Belgium and Oiland .

It doesn't.
But that was what was signed up for. TCA , go have a look. And if you don't treat other nations the same you run into the WTO favoured nation rules.
They didn't put that in the Express.

Aldi reported it to trading standards who then went to the source , Ireland

Anyway , that's bye the bye , fact is you think you have food security in the EU , but haven't , in fact largely you're the source of dodgy gear .
What a load of carp!
Why don't you help your thick mate to understand customs procedure for goods in transit?

Oh wait.. easier to come up with some diversion carp!

Never mind , plan on getting your black box fitted to drive in France😂

You seem to forget the horsemeat scandal stared off as just a UK problem, with slaughter houses in Wales and West Yorkshire found to have pet ponies and old race horses going into the food chain.

@bobk do you think food in the UK is safe ?. I see in N.I. which is meant to have some of the strictest herd keep records in the world, That records were deleted, with no trace of the cattle for some times days (who know what happen them or were they went or even if they the same animal) . TB reactors entering the food chain. cattle with missing ear tags entering the food chain, cattle that had been binned for "welfare" reason appearing in the food chain
