I think what happens is the milk goes off them a touch with the cold the lambs need more so they are on top of the ewes and then there’s the draft then bingo
Not according to a useless vet I ones talked to. She said that was a stupid theory , It would be down to dirty sheds even though these ewes had never come in. Also never heard of ewes dieing of mastitis. 😡

Ive heard all this infection theory .......have been thinkin only this week that it can only be the cold that does them, never had any all lambin till this east wind came on,
you only need feel your finger ends or your cheeks, they can sometimes be very cold, what will it be like for a ewes bag?

I’m my indoor lambing ewes sometimes the wind blows up the single pens and I get mastitis.

Likewise cousins daughter married next weekend wife didnt even ask when invite came she going with her mate
If it’s the same wedding we could have both gone and talked about sheep all night. A friend of mine (girl) says Iv only got 3 conversations farming, good times Iv had out when drinking and girls Iv shagged (tried to). None of these are very suitable of wedding small talk.

So not been on here since Tuesday has been busy, anyone want to give me the high lights? What's been talked about and few prices would be good to
Wednesday and Thursday were very cold then on friday it was a bit warmer....but not warm enough to tek leggins off.
Northeastfarmer walks round his stock cos he hasnt a quad bike, it keeps him fit cos he eats a lot.
Bin a fair bit blackbag about.
Fat cattle good trade.
Hoggs similar but still nowt awwer for time a year 👍
