35mm yesterday in about half and hour put a bit of strain on the ditches which meant a bit of cleaning this morning.

Hope you’re not going on the road ? Hope you’ve got white diesel in the tank and all the regulations to go with it . (Because anything to do with leisure horses (livery ) is not agricultural.

If you get stopped it will be costing you £££‘S

Not like your usual self making loads of £££‘S

Apparently if its being hauled for agricultural purposes then it's OK...... so I'm told .
If I was selling it then it would be different

....I'm just swapping it for some straw

you have been informed wrongly . It is classed as a waste product from a leisure enterprise lot of regulations as come in over the last few years especially the 1st of April 2022

Its a sad state of affairs when folks start having to think about all the above b.ollocks when moving abit of non farming manure.

Today we have a "crane job", lifting down a section of ducting on one of the intake elevators that needs re-patching before harvest.

Even the hardox steel wears through after 300,000 tonnes of flow.

The crane was next door this morning, helping with their new shed.

In fairness it was a pretty good Even spread. It’s green waste compost so fairly light stuff if it’s not compacted

I sell haylage to another farmer who then sells it on to polo yards he can deliver his haylage on red but if he delivers mine out he should be on white

Subsoiled some over winter grassland ahead of ploughing and going into leeks. Wasn’t sure I’d even get it into the ground given how dry it’s been

Cleaning out cattle yards today. I normally spend a good hour or two in the old cowshed using the mandraulic fork. Cheated this year and got done in minutes. Certainly saved some sweat and muscle ache.
