bit dear new, but you can get good second hand ones for around $10K & maybe a rough “farm use” one for $5K ?

Got some from a Commercial breakers once….not too difficult to convert them for tractor use….depends if it is on farm use or highway use…
On farm fine..
Plod will take a dim view on the highway though..

I think I read somewhere, that for highway use, it has to be welded on rather than using the catch, as using the catch it is counted as two trailers towed behind each other (therefore must be empty), where as if you "weld" the catch shut, it then becomes one trailer so fine for highway use. Even then, the fine bit I have put may not be completely correct.

Meant if doing a home conversion rather than a Pro job, plod may well be unimpressed.
No problem welding up the handle though….just as easy to have a dolly in each trailer if you can buy them right from the dismantlers.
But as I said…Farm Use…

I'm off to look at one Monday if all goes to plan.
New build, new steel, new 5th wheel.
Air bags, brakes need doing though.
Secondhand axle and wheels.
Fingers crossed, I've bought the tanker now.

I’ve got one in the brambles at the other farm if that’s any help, think it’s still on a flat artic trailer, but that’s heading for the scrap skip at current prices 😉
