what price are Helpers paying for F&P% above std litre now?I’d have to work that out when next statement comes. Milk formula is devised to keep them off the league tables and out of potters radar

And you believed him. Or will this be me with egg on my face for questioning this come ChristmasPaynes up 5ppl for June hoping to see 70p by Christmas
Can we have a recording of the conversation you had with Charlie to tell him that?Paynes up 5ppl for June hoping to see 70p by Christmas
Did he say which Christmas?Paynes up 5ppl for June hoping to see 70p by Christmas
Wouldn't touch freshways with a barge pole, they may be paying decently now but they f*cked their suppliers two fold during covidWe've supplied milk to the same people for a long time and haven't done any contract comparison, negotiation etc. We produce 12,000 litres a day, liquid milk, 15 minutes off M25 motorway. Standard proteins and fats. AYR calving. Tank stores 28,000 litres.
Do you think we have options available to us? Freshways are probably worth a call. Anyone else?
Thanks in advance.

Bit of an exercise whilst the market is more on our side to see if we do have any other options. We're considering increasing our herd size to try and get up to a full tanker every other day, and would like to know if anyone else would be interested in our milk or if we really do just have the 2 options. We haven't tested the waters in probably a decade because we didn't really think we had options available to us.Why are you thinking of moving after so long?
Would imagine in your situation and what your thinking you’d more get options than your two sat round your kitchen table for a discussion.Bit of an exercise whilst the market is more on our side to see if we do have any other options. You really need to look what the average price a company have paid averaged over the last 2 years. Freshways will look quite competitive today but the way they treated their suppliers over lock down was shocking. Since Arla announced they were recruiting most dairy’s have had to pull their finger out or risk loosing suppliers. How long this situation will last I don’t know but if it returns to how it was before then watch out !We've supplied milk to the same people for a long time and haven't done any contract comparison, negotiation etc. We produce 12,000 litres a day, liquid milk, 15 minutes off M25 motorway. If you are on the m25, and you're not supplying arla, you should be looking at them. Muller suppliers not very happy, freshways are like a yo-yo, there's not much else round there. We've supplied milk to the same people for a long time and haven't done any contract comparison, negotiation etc. We produce 12,000 litres a day, liquid milk, 15 minutes off M25 motorway. Since Arla announced they were recruiting
They haven't said they are recruiting .Have Arla taken any new suppliers on yet?
It seemed to have a positive effect on the market though for mostThey haven't said they are recruiting .
If you read the statement on their website it states
"While we are not recruiting as of now, we will also investigate opportunities to gradually open up for new members or contracted milk"
It's akin to saying that "hope the milk price will be 70p by Christmas"
Won't hear until late May at the earliest is what was saidHave Arla taken any new suppliers on yet?
