Can anyone tell me what type of bird this is? It’s not one I’ve seen knocking about before.

After a bit of Googling the closest one I can find is a fieldfare? But probably way off the mark 🤦🏻‍♂️

But also got goldfinch, (edit: gray wagtail🤦🏻‍♂️) two pairs of oyster catchers and half a dozen lapwings following me round at the moment.

The top one looks very like a stone curlew to me. Did it have large yellow eyes, which are very noticeable. Very rare to have a nesting pair, so keep an eye out to leave them in peace.

Can’t say as I noticed it’s eyes to be honest, I know the oyster catchers red eye stand out. Got a beak full of worms then disappeared int some nearby trees which makes me think it isn’t a ground nester. Not seen it since so can’t get a better picture unfortunately.
