Starmers pullin a trick here - what a shyster lawyers trick. I resign. Makes the Durham Bobbies job impossible. Scumbag Starmer. Raynor got the Scum word right, but wrong benches.
I disagree, but there.
Think KS has played it well, even some Tories seem to be backpedalling now. Big problem brewing for Boris if he does pick up another FPN, one is unfortunate, two (or more) would be difficult for him, even his Teflon and Kevlar coat might struggle...

So boris has cake and drinks at HIS place of work and it's a party.
Starmer has pizza and beer at a place that isnt his work place and it's not a party.
Now call me stupid but how the hell is one different from the other.
It's no wonder people dont vote or have respect for politicians
The cakes a blind, Carries parties in the flat is what they're trying to 'disapear', Starmer didn't have his wife and interior designer present!

Whilst it's difficult to look retrospectively at this as Johnson changed the covid rules more often than his pants. From what I can see there is no obvious evidence of anything actually illegal happening. However, what is interesting is the alleged cooperation between Corbynistas, Breitbart and the Tories on this story. Hard left and hard Right looking to remove Starmer, he must be doing something right. 😁

No he had up to 30 people there all from different households when rules clearly said up to 6 from 2 households but you know that but because Boris had his wife there it is worse!

Carries worse than him, she organised most of them, above the rules. He just lied about them. If he'd come out first offing, yes, we had drinks after work as we always do as we'd been working together all day. End of story, wind out the sails and move on. He didn't. He lied, again and again to Parliament!
That's the crux of the matter.

Starmer said he hadn't broken the rules when its obvious he did the same as boris, either both broke the rules or neither did .
It makes no difference who organised it or where it was, the rules said 6 people from two households that was not adhered too by either.

Meetings for work purposes and for campaigning were allowed. Exception 20 I think to the regulations.

Dunno - if he's found guilty they should both resign but there's no indication of Starmer having wine fridges/suitcases wheeled in yet.

Genuine mistake?
Eating and drinking wasn't breaking any rules, if people ate a sandwich in work it was ok.
Bringing in suitcases of booze and inviting people over was. Carrie did.
Andrew Bridgen said Starmer is playing people as " you don't get a fine for the first offence, so he knows he won't have to resign"
This means Boris and co who were fined had done it more than once!

And where's Sue Gray?

...but I suppose Starmer is the Tories biggest asset 🤷‍♂️
I don't know how you'd figure that... Tories are consistently polling below Labour now. Things are on course for a minority Labour government.

Starmer may not be transformational but he's not a liar and he's not Corbyn, which could be enough.
