I really liked tubeless the ride is better with my 28mm tyres. Will probably go back at some point. I had a small split which didn’t seal on a sportive, I wonder if I should have tried a plug rathe than just chucking a tube in which punctured a few miles later. I still have the maxis tyres that the bike came with, they seem thin and are really easy to get on and off. I think some GP5000 should be much better. A friend of mine has been running them for ages and still has not had a puncture.

I run 28mm tubeless Pirellis on my road bike. I live the ride and no punctures yet…so not sure how easily I would remedy this occurrence. I do carry sealant, plugs and some gas so fingers crossed.

I’m not at home, but from memory P Zero Race. They were n the bike when I bought it so don’t know how easy to fit.

My everyday summer hack is on Pirelli P Zero Race tyres, clinchers though as I am not a big fan of a tubeless road set up personally. Lovely light, fast, hard wearing tyres.
I have a 25mm on the back, 23mm on the front both with latex tubes, 110 psi/120psi respectively, delivering a super smooth ride.
Contis are over priced and overated imo!

Frame is perfect , but both gear changers gone lazy , upgraded to the latest spec , bike is harder than the Cannondale , but no give in the pedals that helps on the hills , can't have it both ways

Did ride London with 10 others yesterday. Mostly we stayed in a group, I did 30 miles on my Todd as the traffic just kept getting in the way. We regrouped and 6 of us flew the last few miles into London. It was flat and very fast.
Recovered by watching the pro ladies go by from a pub and a few beers. They are very fast I couldn’t go at those speeds.

Organisation was really good with lots of marshals. Plenty of food at the stops but could have done with more coffee.
Unfortunately we had a hold up for a crash and ambulance. One of our group had a puncture other than that all went well.

For a few years I have been fascinated by Tour Divide. Its a gravel/mountain route from Banff Canada to the Mexican border all along the Great Divide water shed. 2700 miles and the current record was set by Mike Hall at 13 days. I would love to have the fitness and time to do even part of it. Each year they have the Grand Depart where a large number of riders leave together so i am reduced to occasionally watching dots on a screen.
