Ok, today with my Council job, I was Linemarking 6 touch football fields, on one of our larger sports fields

The Council insisted a footpath was reinstated (15yds) across the garden of one of the estate cottages here, so a new gate was put in on either side. A new sign went up on one of them straight away, and I’ve never seen anyone use it (my field gate is alongside it, which takes them straight round the garden, on the other side of the fence).
They’ve not had a dog for over 20 years.

I should mention that this cottage is empty as of a week ago and going to be relet. It will be interesting to see how easy it is to let with a footpath across the garden.

That dog Walker sounds like a c*nt and so many are. But as someone who spends a lot of time in the countryside with my dogs, and those dogs being running dogs. There are plenty of farmers who need a f*cking good hiding to teach them a few manners and not to approach everyone with that billy big rubbish attitude.

Do that and you are accepting you have a dangerous bull.
Just "Mixed livestock grazing in field" will do.

No 'under control' , that's rather open to interpretation! They are only allowed on the footpath not running around the rest of the field.

They are often running in the crops round here, first few meters of crop next to a footpath is often trampled to the floor by harvest

Worth pointing out that this website is international and much of the advice isn't. In Scotland, they have to if the enclosure contains livestock.
