It'll have one of those non existent gearbox faults, or invisible electrical gremlins that valtra never have.....That tractor has gone today, was 10k cheap I’d say.

Are there rumors about these new engines? There is a new generation of Valtra/AGCOpower engines due quite soon. The current generation is about average on fuel consumption and drive-by noise but excellent in power and torque characteristics and reliability by all accounts. The new generation promise to be much quieter and more frugal but that remains to be seen. There’s no actual launch date that has been made public either, so currently it is vapourware rather than hardware.
I haven’t heard any more about them in some months. I know they are in the pipeline though. Was rather surprised they didn’t appear with the new 8S tractors, however MF have a habit going back to the 1960’s of launching new tractors with legacy [but perfectly good] engines only to have a refresh about two years into production with new and [sometimes] improved engines. I suppose it happens with most brands. Are there rumors about these new engines?
Will Fendt be the first to fit them?
I think an update to the 700 range is due so hopefully that will have the new engine. Are there rumors about these new engines?

If your launching a new engine sure as hell your going to use fendt to do it.... Surely
would think when any new engines come out they go in the valtra first , there was some thing said when they got took over don't know if it came to any thingI think an update to the 700 range is due so hopefully that will have the new engine.

A really silent running, economical, high performance and reliable new engine that put AGCOpower way ahead of the pack would be very good news. The difference in noise from current new heavy goods vehicles compared to older ones is profound and most welcome and there is surely no reason why tractor engine could not be equally silent. I’m thinking particularly about my Scania milk tankers that visit each morning at around 5am and are whisper quiet and certainly no noisier than my Ranger pickup as they accelerate up through my yard. Imagine the difference it would make to in-cab noise even if current noise insulation was unaltered.
I’ve set high expectations and hope I’m not destined for disappointment as a result.
Didn't realise there was an 728 in the pipeline..728 meant to be in 2yrs time
Might be just Mf8s with makeover. Hope it's something new, but probably not.Valtra Q Series rumored Vario Trans & fit inbetween T & S series
new cab the lot but could be a windup who knows

Valtra cab comfort and layout? Brilliant indeedI'd hope not, the main win for Valtra is the very comfortable and nicely laid out cab in my opinion.
Valtra cab comfort and layout? Brilliant indeed
Valtra Susi engine economy and noise level?....... Not so brilliant (!)
Jd are very overrated the cab is tiny compared to most othersSusi engine is a peach though. I can't say I found the noise problematic. Quieter than the JD I have been driving today. Was yours a 6 or 4cyl model? Maybe front suspension, cab suspension and the like might have something to do with it, I'm not sure how yours is specced. Electronic spools and CVT also help as fewer cables entering the cabin. I also tend to run at no more than 40km/h on the road as I can't be doing with being thrown about in the cab these days.
How the heck anyone survives day after day in a JD cabin still escapes me. Fudge all room in it.
Yeah, Massey does the engine maps better, they consume way less. Engine noises haven't bothered me since MF 5445.Valtra cab comfort and layout? Brilliant indeed

The r series has plenty of room in the cab imoJd are very overrated the cab is tiny compared to most others
