Is there a cheaper alternative to grazon for spot spraying nettles. Also is the sprays sold on here competitive against Agrivista etc

As I can't get hold of Pastor now, and it's been getting silly dear too (not that I'd use it for spot spraying or weedwiping of course), I have opted for a mix of Hurler and Thrust after a few recommendations on here and elsewhere.

Price was actually fairly competitive on Farm Marketplace and it was my first order from there. Only delivered a few days ago, so yet to see if it's as effective as I'm led to believe.

Just use thrust.
Does Thrust kill nettles?
I think Grazon is for nettles and thistles.
Thrust is for thistles and rushes.
If that’s right can the two chemicals be mixed to finish off all 3 suspects?
It’s above my pay grade and we just use Grazon in bike tank, then separately Mcpa for the few rushes which remain here.

Thrust applied from a knapsack will have a very good go at most things- the dose rate per target plant will be far higher than from a normal sprayer.

A lot of these chemicals can be and have been mixed before. I'm just not that familiar with grazon as it is a knapsack product so don't see why you would want to mix it particularly. From memory there used to be a 2,4D and triclopyr product so doubt there would be much of an antagonist problem.

2,4D will have a go at rushes. MCPA is not the only game in town. From memory dicamba also has activity on rushes.
