The war in Ukraine...

Word of mouth has it that Ukraine is now using decoy vehicles, tanks etc. - like we did tanks in WW2 - and the Russians are wasting munitions and risking air attacks to hit them...

The reality now being seen by the UK military, is that if Ukraine determines to regain its lost territory - which with a lot of effort we think it eventually could - this war could continue for another couple of years, and then some. Of course the assumes that Zelensky isn't taken out and the Putin persists in power.

If this transpires, we are going to see the return of a lot of the deception techniques used in WW2, simply because they are cheap and easy to reproduce by modern standards, so you really can expect to see fake tractors. :)
Haven't seen any fake tanks yet, but I've seen video of a fake Ukraine trench system with cardboard solders being taken out by Russian artillery. 😁

All to the good; I was told that the decoys aren't inflatable, or anything like that, but are both previously destroyed tanks that have been repainted and given what looks like a working barrel etc. as necessary to make them look plausible, or are - and I sh!t you not - paintings on the side of buildings... :ROFLMAO:

Either way it's no loss to Ukraine and the Russians will be both wasting ammo & giving themselves away. :)

Yes, but we also voted them in, in the first place.

At least we get the chance to correct a mistake, unlike many countries.
Killing thousands of innocents is just a mistake is it I’m sure the people in all these countries where we murdered their children , mothers , fathers , grandparent etc will be sleeping easier in their beds now realising after we run for the hills and left them to pick up the pieces that we were able to vote these people out that took our troops in to these wars

You make a very serious accusation, I am sure you will be able to and are prepared to back it up...

So, please tell us specifically where and when 'we' - and my presumption is you mean the British Armed Forces, of which I was one - 'murdered' these people. I was a soldier and still am a Barrister, and I can't think of a single instance in the modern history of the British Army when there was an order to murder people.

I am aware of murders that have taken place at the hands of a British soldier, but I am entirely unaware of any situation in which such individuals were acting other than in their own capacity. In every case their actions were diametrically against orders. So, please do educate me as to when and where such things occurred, by whom and on what authority.

Thanks in advance.
