The war in Ukraine...

That's not what I said. Try reading the post again.
So we didn’t get any justice for the innocents murdered in an illegal war , but it’s ok as the person responsible doesn’t have the same job anymore , he is still attempting to influences the government today with the backing of the people who fund his foundation and our gracious queen tapped him on the shoulder with her sword not that long ago I’d say there are plenty people out there who don’t even care about the innocents that died

Clearly you have not got even a single example of what you claimed; just as I thought, thank you.
Can you go over the case of every innocent Afghan or Iraqi that was killed from start to finish of the conflicts and then the ones that were executed after we ran away and prove to me which ones wouldn’t be classed as murder I’ll await your evidence

Never mind the ones sent for water boarding, all's fair play in Western invasions it seems, no need to worry about silly old war crimes!

Killing thousands of innocents is just a mistake is it I’m sure the people in all these countries where we murdered their children , mothers , fathers , grandparent etc will be sleeping easier in their beds now realising after we run for the hills and left them to pick up the pieces that we were able to vote these people out that took our troops in to these wars

Bet you've never been a soldier on the front line in a full scale war.

You have made an accusation, you have assumed the role of the prosecution, therefore it is for you to adduce evidence to support your case, and not for the accused to prove their innocence - that's the sort thing dictators resort to.

I will say that the very phrasing of your posts indicates a clear lack of knowledge of the subject, so perhaps we can forgive you writing in such a way, it being out of ignorance, rather than from malice.

I know where you're coming from, but it makes no difference in this instance. Our Army is bound by both Civil and Military law at all times, and must always act within them. As I wrote earlier, British Soldiers have murdered and, horrible though this is, it can not and must not be denied. But the key point is that they have done so as individuals and not in any officially sanctioned capacity. (y)

This issue was at the heart of the excellent film Breaker Morant, where two Australian soldiers were executed for murdering prisoners and at least one civilian during the Boer War. Reading about the real life story it was based on, the issue does not seem to be so much whether the men were guilty, but whether the guilt ran all the way to Kitchener at the top, who denied ever giving them orders to kill prisoners. It was expressly stated that British soldiers are bound by Civil and Military Law.

There are a lot of our soldiers wish they had never been on the frontline in the countries I mentioned most of them know it was a waist of time , caused more harm than it solved and in the end did it improve the lives of the already poor in those countries no

If the Ruskis are still there come harvest i can't see that any grain will be coming out of the fighting areas as they will most likely use fire as a weapon as soon as it is ready to harvest . Hopefully they will be pushed out of there by then .

I am torn between whether you're being deliberately obtuse, or are just plain stupid.

Do us all a favour, including yourself, and take a squint at the definition of and requirements to constitute murder, for whichever jurisdiction you are in; then apply that to what you are stating.

That done, find and present to us the situations in which orders were given to HM Forces to murder.

Isn't this where war gets very complicated, I would suppose that the Russian leadership would argue that no order to murder civilians was ever given, but & it's a big but if the Ukrainian leadership announces to the world that it has armed civilians out of uniform to fight it complicates the situation greatly, obviously there are always going to be obvious war crimes committed by all armies during a war but most are seldom recorded on video.

You are clogging up this thread by ignoring what the person you're talking to is saying and with respect, it's happened on other threads too.
This conversation began when I commented that thousands of civilians have lost their lives in recent conflicts and I didn’t think people saying we can vote the leaders out who took us into those wars was much use or comfort to their families , those civilians were unjustifiably killed so In my eyes murdered
