Some of the economic experts on this thread were cheer leaders for lockdowns and furlough. That is directly linked to the current situation and what will pan out over the next 2 years.
I think we would of ridden out alot of problems if the war hadnt driven up gas,fuel and food on top of covid tbh. Interest rates should have risen slowly to 5-7% during the last ten years.

The writing was on the wall before Putin invaded in my opinion.

Some might say it's convenient how quickly this has happened and like it's all rolled into 1 with covid....

Whilst we appear to be a world of sh!t at the moment we can't get too carried away. The world can generally produce enough food to feed itself and the government had already stated that the answer to this will be to get imports from Ukraine back on track ffs to help with food inflation.
