I think you must be looking in the wrong place?Gas price through the floor today. Just sayin'.
spot price is on the floor, but contract prices is still high. the gas pipes from uk into europe arent big enough, so we are getting a backlog in our ports apparently. why cant they turn the bloody fert factories on then!I think you must be looking in the wrong place?
Good bloke Ed Conway , no agenda like like most sky wokey fukersspot price is on the floor, but contract prices is still high. the gas pipes from uk into europe arent big enough, so we are getting a backlog in our ports apparently. why cant they turn the bloody fert factories on then!
The surreal, but also real, problem of Britain's gas glut
The UK is drowning in gas - but consumers will get little or no relief from these very low prices, writes Ed Conwaynews.sky.com
Maybe within the ag sectors where prices aren't climbing to match the cost of the grain, but beef, lamb and pork will rise as production shrinks (in the uk) but most grain can/will be exported to customers who are paying the prices. Farmers are not setting these prices, the stock markets/global demand is, and the same will happen to the meat sectors, just as milk prices have been rising over the last 6 months, so will other sectors pruces rise as soon as the retailers see shortages emerging.I'm buying nowt , high prices = demand destruction , and it's happening
We have no shortages thoughMaybe within the ag sectors where prices aren't climbing to match the cost of the grain, but beef, lamb and pork will rise as production shrinks (in the uk) but most grain can/will be exported to customers who are paying the prices. Tight closing stocks, drought in usa, australia and france, a war in ukraine and countries not buying from russia, would strongly suggest otherwise. Wishing away the fundamental facts doesnt change them, and although there is no shortage right now, it is on the horizon and it is that which is driving prices. We have no shortages though
Harvest is only once a year and the production has to last a yearWe have no shortages though
Look after yourself . lads I feel sorry for are the pig and poultry producers , everyone else can copeTight closing stocks, drought in usa, australia and france, a war in ukraine and countries not buying from russia, would strongly suggest otherwise. No one is saying they dont feel sorry or ypur pain, but it is market driven, not farmer driven on prices.Look after yourself . lads I feel sorry for are the pig and poultry producers , everyone else can cope
Miilions of uses for wheat , Amazon spiked the market , cos it makes glue for packaging ,Where does all this feed wheat end up if there is less domestic livestock, is it low spec milling or go abroad to feed animals.
But it’s supposedly feeding people that’s driving the priceMiilions of uses for wheat , Amazon spiked the market , cos it makes glue for packaging ,
