How do you go on backing trailer?I was sick of moving car trailer with a strap or something so bodged this together in winter time. Don’t use it very often but is handy when I do need it.
I put a pice of a cultipress leg on the top of the eye. It’s quite tight if you don’t drop the hitch onto the latch. How do you go on backing trailer?
Ahhh i think i see
I fear it’s gone beyond a bodge now, no sign of the lock so I had to cut a piece of perfectly good 5mm bar for a handle and use a new screw to turn the “lock” so it’s possible to use from the outsideThe lock on the French windows packed up and can’t get one for a couple of weeks, I did have to sacrifice a length of threaded rod by cutting it in half, the boss objected to it sticking out of the door, but I can reuse it, and theres only a small blob of weld on the outside nut.

Now you definitely don't need the new lockI fear it’s gone beyond a bodge now, no sign of the lock so I had to cut a piece of perfectly good 5mm bar for a handle and use a new screw to turn the “lock” so it’s possible to use from the outsideView attachment 1036245View attachment 1036244
As long as the duct tape wasn't new.Wanted to fill the roller… a 28mm piece of bent copper pipe out of the scrap bin, a funnel and some duct tape! Does this match the criteria?
And we need to see the little bleed valve from a scrap radiator that is welded in the other end to let the air out. Otherwise we know it will bloop, and thats not bodgingAs long as the duct tape wasn't new.
