Does product come from Oman? Omanian, omrainian? Heard of vessels bought for the uk.
an interesting topic...

so far as I'm aware, zero Omani tonnes have found their way to either the UK or EU local markets

I suspect you'll discover, as has been found in Ghent where the product was described as "Omani", that it ended up being sanctioned Iranian tonnes

caveat emptor!

Breaking sanctions, and there's a possibility of jail time. Don't pick up the soap.

Wheat down 30 quid today , they can stick their over priced fert where the sun don't shine
If you end up not cropping because you haven't bought any fert your diminished BPS will cover all the fixed costs will it? If so I suggest you are in a rather privileged position and therefore don't really have to take this as seriously as the rest of us. There is however the possibility that if I adopted your approach that will lose less than if cropped fully for harvest 23. I don't think that's likely myself but hey ho.

Better farmer than me if you can earn enough in 4 years to pay for the fifth. I remember years ago telling you that if your farm is as heavy and wet as you say it should be grass. Your strategy of not buying makes more sense in the light of that but don't expect everyone else to be in a similar position.
