I wouldnt be too bothered if some of them feckers went bang to be honest. Constant stream past me into Egger. First load past at 3am tonning it.In fact they ton it everywhere. Got sandwiched inbetween two of them from Brampton to Longtown one day.Fully laden, they were touching 70mph on the straight bits.

They use both sides of the road, everyone else has to get out of the way.Lad i buy straw off from the east coast ended up cowped in the ditch one day with his fastrack and loaded trailer.

Cattle that are radge are always worth less. If I can’t turn my back on my cows they are swinging by an ankle

But she loaded OK.

It may have just been the journey upset her a bit.

Can't be too bad. The worst ones I've had in the past would never have stayed in that pen!!

I don't keep anything I don't trust these days. But you can't trust anything completely.

I can always remember many years ago at Carlisle at one of the main Limoisin sales.Cow and calf held the sale up,and she took the lads about 10 minutes to get in the ring, and another 10 minutes to get her out again. She appeared at about 100mph and skidded from one side of the ring to the other, with calf in tow. A belting good cow as well, the late David Thomlinson was selling, and after the hammer fell he said to the buyer with a smile," now see you look after her well, wont you". :ROFLMAO:

See some ped lim cows and calves sold recently , even the vendor was hid behind the drovers escape gate. Auctioneer bought them on the phone to a buyer, i couldnt help but wonder if the buyer would be caught out looking at them next morning if he hadnt been warned. Tbf cattle usually settle once turned out, many have never left home before.
