No you eat it so you can jog homeWhen you’ve jogged 25 miles to a bunch of sheep and there’s a dead one do you have to run home to get a wheel barrel to take it to the kennels.

Are they the Cheviot mules from the day I saw you? They’ve grown out into belting hoggsGot the ewe hoggs in to avoid the rain so we can shear tomorrow
Never pays too sell underdone lambs/hoggs. Very rare they won’t pay too be finished properlyAuctioneers been calling for lambs to be creeped rather than sold not quite done. They accept and understand that creeps dear though.
Some of them will be, the Tex xs are home bred, you probably saw me buy the Chev Mules, they weren’t over big on the day and not big enough to tup but they have grown out their skins. I’ll be keeping them, Suffolks and some of the Tex xs will be sold. Are they the Cheviot mules from the day I saw you? They’ve grown out into belting hoggs
The ones I was running you on (unintentionally I will add) were small but very well made lambs. Tupping would definitely have ruined them but they look too have done brilliant. Make really smart shearlings come OctoberSome of them will be, the Tex xs are home bred, you probably saw me buy the Chev Mules, they weren’t over big on the day and not big enough to tup but they have grown out their skins. There was plenty of lambs in the seventies last backend, you could have filled your boots with good lambs in the seventies and sold them for £120+ just saying….I’m sure there will be plenty of lambs in the £70’s.
Yes there was plenty £60/£70 lambs in July some did £60/£80 and more by the end of OctoberThere was plenty of lambs in the seventies last backend, you could have filled your boots with good lambs in the seventies and sold them for £120+ just saying….
No offence taken , their were plenty of others queuing up to bid against me. In such circumstances just have to do your own thing and if that’s good enough then so be it. Purchased smaller lambs than usual but pleased with them. The ones I was running you on (unintentionally I will add) were small but very well made lambs. Do you mean into Eggersons (sp) plant near Flimby? If so I used to drive the top road through Aspatria quite often, I would count the timber lorries from Flimby to Carlisle on a trip - usually 20 to 30I wouldnt be too bothered if some of them feckers went bang to be honest. Constant stream past me into Egger. First load past at 3am tonning it.In fact they ton it everywhere. Got sandwiched inbetween two of them from Brampton to Longtown one day.Fully laden, they were touching 70mph on the straight bits.
Usually burn some juice on fridges6 but some are seven days a week on the road as we do milk and fridges too when quiet etc
People who knowing sell radge cattle for breeding should swing by their ankles tooCattle that are radge are always worth less. If I can’t turn my back on my cows they are swinging by an ankle
Could do with that on our chicken coops around here, three lots been taken this last month during the night. Why i dont know when chicken is cheap really.
