We've got an arag 400 s and a novatel receiver in a Househam spirit and twice now the Househam tech guy has tried to put it onto SBAS correction and it just beeps and put a warning up saying insufficient GPS signal this can be fine for a while then start it in the middle of a 50 acre field so you then have to go back onto none so the work done then shifts.
He's coming back this week so will see what he says but should it work on this ??

Nah he's not appeared yet to ask we gave them a list of problems that need addressed under warranty so assume they're getting everything together before coming up .

It's ok as a controller but is a bit small I get on fine but the older sprayer operator wasn't getting on well to start with but seems fine now . The next model up also knows when you're reversing the 400 is a bit of a pain in corners with the auto shut off but you learn to work round it .

i don’t like our new one
needs foot pedal to centre steering and constantly flicking back and forth
it’s a cheap sh!t bit of plastic for what sprayer cost
and issues with rAte control when turning back in under dosing
very disappointed up to now

You get used to the pedal but yes it's a sh!t idea !!!

The boss does 90 % of the spraying and won't put it into 2 along the field and the first pass is as wiggly as can be .

To be honest I wish we'd never seen it I hate driving it so it's a good job I'mvery much the relief driver

I don't think I'd like making 10k round bales with yours!!! But I bet it'll out pull this thing
Yeah your left leg would have fair muscles after baling 10k bales with that thing!

I have baled with it, baler cable to control box struggled for length.

It's putting out around 200hp at the pto. It's a beast on the road, never driven anything that pulls like it.

It is bloody noisy and cramped and lacks creature comforts and I miss not having a vario gearbox.

It's getting changed for a 4220 when the right deal comes up.

I think that spray setup on a 4220 would be great. I would plough with the fastrac in the winter too. Can't do that with many self propelled sprayers. Do you think it would lift 6f with packomat? It's only a 85.

Under dosing Will, is that when the boom turns back on as you set back into the field from the headland, takes a while to build working pressure again ?

That's what mine does, and blackgrass is rampant until the pressure is built up.

have told them it’s sh!t
too many issues with a 90 k sprayer with all the gadgets on and cannot get basics right
have had more issues with it in two weeks than 76000 acres with old berthoud
am really f**ked off now as a boom ram has just blown apart
