Dairy Farm For Sale

We farmed within a mile of this farm upto 6 years ago, superb ground, used to be heavily involved with swede. Would be a cracking farm, big herd of N Devon cattle ran the ground. Big dairy unit next door would chase I expect.
That reminds me we had a trip to that Farm when I was at Bicton college, I think the business was called Devon Swedes.
I also remember the boss telling us he would supply tescos with out of season swede, Tesco were desperate enough for swede they paid to air freight them in to keep the shelves full.
Air freighting swedes ffs, mostly water.

Hope you have better luck than we've had, neighbours and changed his mind and not going to sell currently 🙈, so back on the market to look again, if anyone wants to sell a 250 to 500 dairy unit suitable for spring calving anywherein the soutwest or Dumfries and Galloway, drop me a PM

Might be a bit far from home. But it's one of the straightest dairy farms I have seen. 18 thousand an Ac plus though.

There is a dairy farm coming up for sale in North Cumbria, think its about 700 acre ish, few houses with it as well,
Been told its about 8M for the lot, including farm all the stock and machinery, crop, chemicals, fertiliser, silage everything in 1 lot,
Move in Sunday night, straight into gear 5am Monday, think it's an Arla contract at present

Sounds cheap for that, what's the catch with it?

Maybe a little big🤔, looked at farms in Tasmaina and would move tomorrow, but the wife thinks it too remote, did tell her wasn't sure if she was coming 🤣
Got a mate down there looks good to me. Always green, nicer summer than here. I would only want to be milking seasonally though or have a bloody heater in the shed with me. What 150 cows extra anyway 30 mins extra in the dairy:ROFLMAO:

Don't Worry my Oma said the same thing when Opa suggested he buy a farm on King island ( A small island off the North western coast of Tasmaina) when they moved over from Holland. She said you have dragged me across the world, were not going to some tiny island aswell.
