I'm sure we are gonna get rain tomorrow.

Yeah, might get 2nd cut in but that's it. Got a lot of forage kicking about.
grass yields are huge, have to do our pp this week, the pit for 1st and second cut, wont get any 2nd cut. Not complaining though, the more the merrier. 2nd cut will fill an old pit, which definitely wouldn't pass the EA jobsworth, it was full of cattle, when he was about. So much for multi cut this year, cut of hay perhaps ? Might even have some fert, left for next yr.

I've no intention of saving fert, if the rain allows us to grow it, flat out and spread more. Keep the bank full

ahhh, but according to the 'experts', the clover should provide enough N. All l know, we have massive quality cuts, with half the fert ! Every year is different, so there will be a lot of carryover for next year, we shall make a lot more, but will cut back on fert, not so heavy cuts then, will make hay easier. Pack off y/s and stores, onto our away ground, and keep the leys here managed for the best for them.
