Can’t remember if there’s a tap on the cylinder? Can you block the cilinder so it cant move, seems dangerous to only rely on spoolvalves

correct you shouldn't be relying on the hydraulics when transporting on the roadGot a latch on my mower
If there isn't there should be.Can’t remember if there’s a tap on the cylinder?
There is a pin up at the mower end of the drawbar, move it over once the mower is in transport position. There are also safety locks on the lift rams, problem with both of these is the driver has to get out and manually put them in and out. Can’t remember if there’s a tap on the cylinder?
It folded behind not up, I can’t remember exactly what the outcome of the investigation was but I there was two cars involved. The first car had clipped the mower snapping the fitting off the ram and dislodging the safety latch allowing the mower to swing out!Farm near by had a lift up mower drop down into oncoming traffic, bloke in a car it hit lost an arm !
That’s it there’s a pin, fortunately I’ve not seen one for number of yearsThere is a pin up at the mower end of the drawbar, move it over once the mower is in transport position. Edit, this is on a John deere 1360, 1365 etc mower, not a 3 point linkage.
You’ve be better off with a 1365 as that thing in the post above .That’s it there’s a pin, fortunately I’ve not seen one for number of years
That is a vicon DMP2401TC or 3001TC, either way it folds up behind the tractor and has a pretty solid locking mechanism for it to not fall down. It is prone to sticking out at the bottom which couldve caused the car to clip it.It folded behind not up, I can’t remember exactly what the outcome of the investigation was but I there was two cars involved. Fortunately there where no fatalities.

Even a tap is better than nothing .But who gets out to move it . Sometimes I put the stops up for lift rams if traveling on road ...I am sure there is no pin on my 1365.....just a tap on the cylinder...
