Size of cable depends on the length of run from battery, assuming you're hard wiring to the battery.
If you let us know the length of cable, can tell you the size, assuming it's being fused for a max current of 25A at 12 volts.

I'm fitting one of these on my tractors for a round baler. Do you know what size cable I should be using. I would be grateful for a link to the correct cable. Thank you.
It would really depend on what type of current draw the baler will use.
Is it for a control box? Is there a fuse in the control box... If so what amperage is it? If it's say 15A then go 16A cable if it's 10A a 16A cable will still do ok.

If your thinking ahead go 20A and that will do almost everything you'll need it to do. Your fuse will always be the limiting factor anyway, kinda like a kink in a hose pipe to slow the water your fuse amperage must always be lower than your cable amperage.

I hope that make some kind of sense to you.

4mm 3 core arctic copper cable is available on the shelf at electrical factors.

Google says that should be good for 40A at 12V.
Thank you.

I asked a similar question on here a couple of days ago but got no response. I needed twin core with a 30amp breaker for a New Holland 650. This needs 4mm or 6mm cable I think. I've emailed a baler box specialist today.

Sorry you got no response bud. I actually only downloaded the app so I've been looking through a few posts and came across this.

No worries - just depends on who is viewing what at the time I guess. Strangely, I found the right cable online but all of it was either in the US or AUS which would have cost £££s to post but more importantly weeks to get here.

Make sure you fuse it properly at the battery, and make all connections well. You will need a proper ratchet crimper at the very least and some heat shrink.

Yea that's the issue with buying from the other side of the world lol.
There's normally pretty decent ways to calculate wire size for different current draws ect.
