Arla up 5 euro cents 1st June.
Now, if nobody expands…. The shortage will never end and we can keep it this way!
Ah slight problem thereI won't expand if you don't...............................
Expand? when no one wants to work
I won't expand if you don't...............................
Zero plans to expand here! The cost would be massive and involve much more than just buying cows. No way I’m setting foot on that treadmill
Same. No staff about, can't really handle what we have in house. Would need slurry storage, cubicles etc. Not worth it.
Already doing over 100 hours a week. Forget trying to do more.Which seems to be the general consensus now, compared to in years gone by people just called the bank and cracked on. Even with the record milk prices there’s a lot of fed up farmers about.
Just had a phone call from roddas and been asked to put some feelers out there for anyone who would be interested to supply them.
Thought I'd post on here in case anyone is interested, let me know and I can pass on contact details. They've also said to feel free to speak to them on their stand at Royal Cornwall.
They also mentioned that an area they would be able and want to collect milk from would be the other side of wadebridge/bodmin if anyone in that area was unsure if roddas would travel as far ad that.
I'll leave it to that and if anyone is interested send me a message. I'm really pleased with how roddas have looked after me for my first 12 months and even if arla came knocking tomorrow I wouldn't move from them.
Nope! Roddas won't be far behind as they've basically scrapped quarterly pricing and moved to monthly for the short termYou still wouldn’t want to move?
What do you mean ? The farmers own ArlaNope! Roddas won't be far behind as they've basically scrapped quarterly pricing and moved to monthly for the short term
Less paperwork with roddas, can do what I want with my calves, don't have to tell them my inside leg measurements etc
If I have a problem I can phone the boss, I doubt there's many who have ever spoken to whoever owns arla
At the moment I'm very happy with them
Yes I've just realised that and already changed itWhat do you mean ? The farmers own Arla
