Funny how they don't produce articles showing how many arable businesses are going into or incorporating livestock production to boost soil health and cashflow.
He must of been dropped on his head , certainly looks like it .

I am not going to even bother reading it, if people don't realise that you produce and grow (and therefore eat) what you local is environment produces and grows well, and if we are going to give a relatively stable planet to those who come after we need to look after the soil with animals integrated into the farming system. And do people realise that the whole West of the UK and the hills only grows grass well, in fact we grow better grass than the rest of Europe (except Ireland) because of our rain and we can't eat grass, but ruminants can, we can eat them and their produce. Not rocket science, but as a nation we seem to be lacking in education for want of a better word. Surely if the war in Ukraine and shortage of Russian fertliser/gas has taught us one thing, it should be play to our strengths and a diverse food system is more robust.

Is it not just a touch hippocritical that he is "selling" his remaining cattle. Surely he should be giving them to an animal sanctuary if his beliefs are that strong! This smacks of someone who just can't hack it and is jumping on the latest fad bandwagon.
Don't suggest that! There was a feature on country file a few years ago about a farmer giving up beef production to go arable/vegan. His cattle had gone to a sanctuary and they were appealing for a huge sum of money to buy hay for winter feed. Absolutely f**king ludicrous!!

I’m confused. Rebecca Knowles is shown cuddling sheep there but she doesn’t want them to exist. WTF’s that all about then?

Also, apparently a sheep farmer looked to her to explain methane. How thick is the sheep farmer? The whole article’s just the usual lies quoting other liars willy nilly. It doesn’t matter how many liars say the same thing BBC, it doesn’t make it the truth.

Oat meal water sounds delicious though 🤢🤢🤢
Mrs PSQ bought some 'Oat Milk' as one of the kids had a vegan friend staying for a couple of days.

Intrigued as to why there was an emulsion of oat dust, rape oil and phosphate acidity regulators and preservatives in the fridge, I decided to 'follow the money' and see where it had come from:

CalifiaFarms.com is based in California and was founded by a man whose first drinks company folded after an e-coli contaminated batch killed a child.
If you dig really deep on the web, their European manufacturing facility is in Spain.
So this artificial dairy substitute that is Vegan accredited, which is sold to a generation of youth as part of a 'world saving' environmental movement, has travelled the length of Europe to offset the carbon emissions of local dairies.

And the final part of the episode, it's still in the fridge unopened.

That's the big bit of the vegan wedge they don't want to talk about. The food miles. Currently in my freezer I've got some lamb and mutton (probably not as much as I think) that will have travelled less than 10 miles its whole life - OK I do kill them at home so that's cheating a bit but still! I've got some beef that we had off next door that's travelled a 60 mile round trip to Wrexham and back. I've got pork that's maybe done 80 miles because I had to go and buy them from near Welshpool and then took them to Wrexham to be slaughtered because doing pigs at home is way too much like hard work! And I've got venison that I shot within a mile of home. So the whole of the meat products I have in my house has travelled less distance than me doing a round-trip to Manchester Airport. In contrast its 1566 miles from Malaga in Spain to my house - Malaga is my arbitrary Spanish place because I've been there!
