Anybody here with one or a jd 328 could help me? Pressure on gauge won’t stay on 82 bar when I set it in working position. After a few times up and down field and lifting at headlands it goes up to 95-100 bar or sometimes down below 70bar. Can’t get a even cut like this. Changed tap too incase it’s leaking

Have you checked that the accumulator isn't burst?
Can’t see any leaks there when the hood was off. What should I expect when I set the gauge? Obviously the gauge increases when you lift the mower at the headlands but should go back to where one has set it when mowing again?
Aye. However if the diaphragm in the accumulator has burst, oil will be on both sides preventing it maintaining set pressure, but it won't leak
Simplest test is remove and see if oil filling the accumulator. You've to remove ALL pressure before undoing it though!
Lock the mower in transport, make sure you've every bit of pressure out, throw a rag over the coupling and carefully undo while covered. There should only be a dribble of oil, but if the diaphragm is burst, it'll be full

Only proper way to check any mower bed is to thoroughly drain then refill with exactly the right amount of whatever oil the manufacturer recommends.Yep accumulator f..ked.. £440 quid to replace. quick question as for best way for checking oil in the bed.. stick it in working position and get bed level? As it does lay level in parked up. Some say they don’t bother checking as it’s a sealed bed
Older Krone mounted had a fill/level plug that was correct volume when filled to the plug in the transport position
Newer beds still have the fill/level plug, but the manual says they're filled for life

Also used them to source electrohydrolic switchover valves, custom loader joysticks, and valve solenoids. They're bloody good at suggesting the part needed from a vague telephone description and a bit of an oem number
